Question 1

What is Dutching and how does the calculator equalize profits?

Accepted Answer

Dutching is a mathematical strategy that splits your total investment across multiple outcomes so that your net profit is identical no matter which selection wins. OddsLab automatically computes the ideal stake for each odd: you set your total bankroll or fixed selection, and the algorithm balances each line proportionally, deducting exchange commissions and cashback bonuses to guarantee uniform returns.

Question 2

Does OddsLab calculate Surebets (Sports Arbitrage)? How do I lock in profit?

Accepted Answer

Yes! A Surebet (sports arbitrage) occurs whenever the combined implied probability (1/odds) across multiple bookmakers is under 100%. OddsLab's mathematical engine splits your stakes proportionally to equalize returns across all possible outcomes, locking in guaranteed net profit no matter who wins the match.

Question 3

How does 2UP Protection work and what is the Double Green strategy?

Accepted Answer

With bookmakers offering the 2UP Early Payout promotion, your pre-match bet is settled as a winner as soon as your team leads by 2 goals. While the match is still active, you can place a live cover bet on that same team to lock in 100% guaranteed profit regardless of the final outcome, or cover a lower percentage (e.g. 80% or 50%) to target the 'Double Green': locking in the early payout and profiting a second time if the opposing team manages to draw or complete a comeback.

Question 4

How do I use the Units (u.) Calculator to manage my bankroll?

Accepted Answer

The unit method standardizes your risk on each wager, safeguarding your bankroll from drawdowns. One unit (1u) typically represents between 1% (standard/conservative) and 2% (moderate) of your total bankroll. By entering your bankroll and the desired units (e.g. 0.5u, 1u, 1.5u, 2u), the calculator immediately determines the exact cash stake to wager and your proportional risk exposure.

Question 5

Does OddsLab support both American (Moneyline) and Decimal odds?

Accepted Answer

Yes! OddsLab natively supports both Decimal odds (e.g. 2.00, 1.85) and American Moneyline odds (e.g. +150, -110). You can type either format directly into the odds input field — the algorithm instantly converts American lines into precise decimal multipliers for proportional Dutching, arbitrage, and hedging calculations without altering your trade mathematics.
